Counselling Services
Katy has extensive experiences in providing counselling services to different people in need. She is experienced in treating mood disorders including depression, anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, addictions, bipolar disorders, insomnia, eating disorder, pathological gambling, and relationship problems with evidence-based psychological treatments. She is also dedicated in helping children to enhance their EQ, self-control and confidence with child-centred play therapy.
Katy is well trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and emotion focused therapy which are proven to be effective in treating various psychological problems. Together with her training in personality analysis, clinical hypnotherapy, family therapy, mindfulness and expressive arts therapy, she can tailor-made suitable treatment plan for each individual client. During the treatment process, clients will be able to better understand themselves, use their inner resources to achieve their goals and maintain their well-being in the long run.

Katy is dedicated in organizing mindfulness based courses. She regularly conducted mindfulness workshops for different corporations and schools. Well researched in the past 3 decades, mindfulness can help us to reduce stress, enhance concentration and work efficiency, reduce depression and anxiety symptoms, improve immune system, and to enhance our quality of life and sleep quality. Mindfulness can also be used to cultivate positive emotions and empathy.
Training and Education
Katy has conducted numerous workshops and programmes to executives and MBA graduates on subjects including personality, stress management, communications skills, emotion regulation and positive psychology.
Moreover, she is currently teaching and supervising students in the Master of Social Sciences programme (Counselling) in the University of Hong Kong.
